Discovering you are losing your sight can be a devastating blow. It can be a disorientating, scary and lonely time. The team at Somerset Sight is here to provide support at the point of diagnosis and beyond. Across Somerset there are estimated to be 19,000 people living with visual impairment. We are an independent, self-funding local charity reaching out to sight impaired people in both the towns and villages of Somerset with a range of services and activities.
We know that life doesn't stop just because your sight has been affected. Our aim is to provide services, training and leisure activities that will help maintain independence and improve the quality of life of anyone who is affected by sight loss.
