Afternoon Tea, Celebrating 20 years of Volunteer Visiting

Somerset Sight recently celebrated 20 years of their hugely successful volunteer visiting service with an Afternoon Tea at Wells Town Hall.

Over 50 people attended the event including volunteers, beneficiaries, charity supporters the chair of Somerset Sight and other trustees. The Mayor of Wells and his wife Gail North were also in attendance. 

Holly Sutton from Somerset Sight said ‘we wanted to mark this fabulous milestone for our visiting service with a fitting celebration event. It was a lovely afternoon and we want to thank everyone who came and supported the event. Special thanks needs to go to Burns the Bread, Wells Barclays, Waitrose and Tesco.’  

Somerset Sight is looking to recruit new volunteers for this valuable service in Wells and the surrounding areas.
