Our hospital information point volunteers provide an invaluable service at Musgrove Park Hospital. Often when someone is waiting to see the consultant they are nervous and anxious, when they have seen the consultant they are often unsure of their next step or they may not understand their diagnosis. Our volunteers are on hand to fill in this gap. They can:
- signpost people in the direction of further help
- provide leaflets to better explain particular condititions
- reassure friends and family
- be someone to talk to
If you find yourself at the eye clinic in Musgrove Park Hospital why not come and have a chat to our volunteers? You dont have to have a specific question, we are always happy to just have a chat about what we do.
