Ten visually impaired people from across the county have recently completed a living with sight loss course at Somerset Sight. The rehabilitation course, which runs one day a week over 4 weeks, helps attendees to find ways to lead a full and independent life despite their sight condition. Topics covered included mobility, technology, benefits advice and health and safety in the home. They also learnt about the range of services available from Somerset Sight including a volunteer visiting service, emotional support and access to equipment and technology.
