Volunteers are always needed across the county to help Somerset Sight in its vital work with visually impaired people.

Almost anyone can be a volunteer!

Our resource shop in Taunton has so much to offer. From magnifiers to monopoly, clocks to cooking equipment, there is something for everyone here.

Feel free to come in and have a look around, however, if you require a magnifier, please make an appointment beforehand.

Our Mobile Advisory Service is out on the road in excess of 200 days per year.  Last year we drove 13000 miles, visited over 40 locations and had over 1200 people on board. It parks up in various locations from supermarket car parks to village greens.
